Take Your Spot

for Leukaemia Care

This year, Leukaemia Care is turning 50. That’s 50 years of offering support to blood cancer patients.

To celebrate this BIG birthday, we’ve decided to set a big challenge - and we’d love you to take part. There are 9,900 people diagnosed with a leukaemia each year. Could you contribute to our collective goal of 9,900 miles?

You could be a pro at running or this could be the first virtual challenge you’ve ever done. Either way, we’re asking your to take your spot for Leukaemia Care.

Our year-long campaign will see mini challenges launched and milestones celebrated. You could take on 26 miles (one mile for every person diagnosed per day) or maybe you could go for the ultimate challenge and set yourself the goal of running 1,000 miles this year.

Tracking your progress is easy. Simply link your Strava or Runkeeper account to your GivePenny fundraising page and everyone who sponsors you will be able to see how far you’ve come.

All funds raised by taking your spot will go towards our collective goal of raising £50,000 to improve and widen our GP training. GP training will enable us to help people be diagnosed sooner – early diagnosis improves outcomes.
